My name is Sandeep Kumar Biswas, and I am from Kajla village in Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira. I come from a humble family. My father worked at a fish enclosure, and beyond our small homestead, we owned nothing. Employment opportunities were scarce, and life moved forward with constant struggle.
Despite these challenges, I continued my education and worked as a day laborer whenever possible. After completing higher secondary education, I was unable to continue my studies due to financial constraints. Soon after, I moved to Dhaka and found a job at a pharmaceutical company. However, the COVID-19 pandemic took that opportunity away, forcing me to return to my village once again.
During a period of unemployment, I began learning computer and mobile phone servicing at Tarali market. Over the years, my skills grew, and I started earning and saving. With confidence slowly building, I decided it was time to start something of my own.

In June 2024, I enrolled in BRAC’s entrepreneurship training. After completing the training, I combined my savings with a small contribution from my father and rented a shop. I obtained a trade license, purchased the necessary equipment, and launched Bishwas Computer & Mobile Servicing Centre.
Today, my shop employs one additional worker. I am raising cattle for my family, and I have been able to buy a sewing machine for my wife, enabling her to earn an income as well. I am not just generating income—I am building a future and turning my dreams into reality.
My journey shows that poverty can never stop a dream.
