We are proud to announce that Stichting BRAC International has been awarded the EU Humanitarian Partnership Certificate for the period 2021-2027. The certification, which has been granted by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), acknowledges BRAC’s commitment to providing effective, efficient, and rapid delivery of humanitarian aid to save lives, alleviate suffering and safeguard the dignity of communities we serve.
The partnership allows us to apply for EU Humanitarian funding under the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, reinforcing our mission to assist some of the world’s most vulnerable populations. The European Commission values the unique role and added value of humanitarian non-governmental organisations like ours in delivering humanitarian assistance, recognising our presence at the very last mile, specialisation, and direct expression of active citizenship.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the European Commission and other partners to achieve our shared objectives and make a significant impact on the ground.
The European Commission's Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) works with about 200 partner organisations to provide humanitarian assistance throughout the world.
