2 out of every 5 young people are not in employment, education or training in Bangladesh.
A third of Bangladesh’s population is between 10-35 years, and 2.2 million young people enter the workforce every year. Three out of every four business leaders report that skilled workers are scarce, while approximately ten million young people are currently unemployed or underemployed.
We provide skills training and employment-related support to young people across Bangladesh, focusing particularly on people living in vulnerable and hard-to-reach areas, people forced to migrate as a result of climate change and people pushed into poverty by COVID-19.
