Socio-Economic Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers of Bangladesh
This is a 2 year project, supported by the Royal Danish Embassy in Dhaka. This project will provide services to all returnees in 6 migration prone districts ( Narsingdi, Munshigonj, Sariatpur, Tangail, Comilla, and Noakhali) .
The overall project objective is:
To contribute to socio-economic sustainability of returnee migrants of Bangladesh through socio-economic reintegration supported with rights and dignity by 2020.
Objective 1: Ensuring community support for social reintegration of returnee migrants
Objective 2: Contributing and promoting institutional support for socio-economic reintegration of returnee migrants
Objective 3: Ensuring a smooth reintegration of returnees through skill development and referral linkage for job placement

- Technical Skills Training for Trade based Enterprise development

Advocacy & Partnerships
- Advocacy and Capacity building of GOB, private and civil society service providers (DEMO, Probashi Kolyan Bank and other banks on Returnee reintegration
- MOU with large scale infrastructure projects for returnee job placement in Bangladesh
