BRAC Afghanistan has developed a close partnership
with the Afghan government across a range
of programs to improve system performance
in education and health.BRAC Afghanistan works in partnership with
local nonprofit organizations, especially
through its Education and the National Solidarity
Program. BRAC Afghanistan has 3,924 staff,
of which 94 percent are Afghans taking on
increasingly senior positions. Currently,
BRAC is active in 24 out of 34 Afghan provinces
and operates a range of development programs
that include microfinance, agriculture and
livestock development, education, and health.
