I remember that -in 1980 when I was a student of class 8 , I saw him at PUBNA BRAC Branch where he visited the branch members. I was one of the founding academics at BRAC University back in 2001. At the beginning phase we had to face many challenges to start residential semester at Savar. I still remember Sir Fazle Hasan Abed’s motivational speech, which also inspired us to overcome the challenges! His speech at the graduation ceremony or at his own office always inspired me! I’m one of the luckiest persons to serve BRAC University from the beginning and had a chance to meet him time to time. It’s a great lost for not only brac family or Bangladesh but also the entire world where person like Sir Abed needed more! I mourned the death of him and also wish for his family and friends to bear such pain in this difficult time! Salute you Sir Abed Bahai, you will remain in my heart forever!
