| Iranian delegates from Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia And The Pacific (CIRDAP) visit BRAC programmes | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Iranian dignitaries Mr. S. A. Roholamin, Deputy Minister, Rural Development Planning Office, Industries and Rural Development Department, Ministry of Jihad-E-Agriculture, Industries and Rural Development Department, Islamic Republic of Iran and Dr J. Behzadnasab, Director General, Industries and Rural Development Department, Rural Development Planning Office, Ministry of Jihad –E- Agriculture, Tehran, Iran, visited BRAC Head Office on October 4 during their tour to Bangladesh as delegates attending the CIRDAP EC-25 AND GC-15 meetings. During their visit they watched a video on BRAC programmes and its activities carried out since its inception in 1972. This was followed by a briefing and discussion session where they expressed their keen interest to learn about BRAC’s structure and operations. The team was briefed by senior BRAC officials including Mr. Abdul-Muyeed Chowdhury, Executive Director, BRAC, Dr AMR Chowdhury, Deputy Executive Director, BRAC, Mr. Minhaz Anwar, Communications Coordinator, Public Affairs and Communications (PA&C). Among others Dr M. A. Momin, Special Officer (PRMU), CIRDAP, Mr. Fariduzzaman Rana, Communications Officer, PA&C and Ms. Syeeda Afreen, Intern, PA&C were present. |
