At a recent
two-day view exchange meeting organized by Campaign for Popular Education
(CAMPE) on CWD at the Local Government Engineering Department auditorium,
representatives of different donor associations, NGOs, civil society,
government organizations and educationists lauded BRAC for successfully
providing primary education to 1,400 differently abled students in the
last one year. Since the programme was started in 2004, CWD has been
operating under BEP, despite all shortcomings to provide a comfortable
atmosphere under the inclusive education scheme, committed to assisting
Children with Disabilities (CWD) to grow in an environment that is as
close to normal as possible. |
