BRAC,
one of the world’s largest development organisations, has been
awarded the ICAB National Award 2004 for Best Presented Published Accounts
and Reports by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh
(ICAB). BRAC has also secured first position in the NGO-MFI Sector.
The Honorable Finance and Planning Minister presented the award to BRAC
on December 21, 2005 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
The ICAB is the National Professional Accounting
Body of Bangladesh, a member of International Accounting Standard Board
(IASB) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), working
with the mission to provide leadership in the development, enhancement
and coordination of the Accountancy Profession in Bangladesh in order
to enable the profession to provide services of consistently high quality
in the public interest. |
