BRAC Afghanistan has extended its support and expertise in the field of capacity building of the development professionals. Training is provided to BRAC staff as well as members of other development organisations. To meet the emerging needs of capacity building, BRAC established a training centre in Afghanistan. BRAC established its first training centre in Kabul in June 2003. In May 204, BRAC established another training centre in Mazar-E-Shariff. Apart from providing training to expertise those working in the field of development, the capacity building programme attempts to provide appropriate support and facilities to development agencies as well as government organisations to organize trainings, seminars and workshops.

In the process of capacity development, BTRC undertakes Training Needs Assessment (TNA), curriculum development and course implementation for each training. BTRC conducts Training Needs Assessment (TNA) initiatives with different NGOs, Government ministries and health professionals.
