BRAC TANZANIA
BRAC has been working in Tanzania since June 2006 and is running successful programmes in microfinance, livelihood and business development services, agriculture, and essential community health care. The scale of BRAC's outreach means that more than 750,000 men, women and children from poor communities are benefiting from our integrated services. BRAC is also emerging as a major employer in the country providing permanent jobs for more than 800 Tanzanians (77% women) and investing in their career development through training and capacity building.
