Visit BRAC
BRAC Visitors Unit enable practitioners from all over the world to visit and gain practical exposure on BRAC’s field activity, which is an excellent opportunity to observe the operation at micro level as well as share views and thoughts with BRAC practitioners.
If you are planning to visit BRAC, please keep in mind the following when making arrangements and fill out profile and logistics forms:
- Please make sure you arrange for your visit between Sunday and Thursday since weekends in Bangladesh fall on Fridays and Saturdays. We would recommend that you plan to arrive on the weekend if you would like to start a visit at the beginning of the week.
- Field visits start very early in the morning (6:30am-7:30am) since sites tend to be far away and the heavy traffic in Dhaka is better navigated early in the day.
- If you are able to plan in advance, we recommend visiting Bangladesh during the winter, since the weather is pleasant. Summer in Bangladesh takes a toll on people because of the high humidity, heat and travelling involved when making field visits.
