Targeting Extreme Poverty: Replication

BRAC's model for reaching the ultra poor has been replicated in Haiti, India, Pakistan, Yemen, Honduras Peru, Ethiopia and Ghana through a partnership between the BRAC Development Institute, BRAC USA, CGAP, the Ford Foundation, and the MasterCard Foundation known as the Graduation Programme. Our technical assistance to organisations in these countries is helping them to implement the approach successfully. As urban poverty becomes a real issue in Bangladesh, we are adapting our programme to support the urban poor. Our goal is to continue sharing our experiences and hands-on knowledge with like-minded organisations that share our vision of eradicating extreme poverty.
