Social Communication & Advocacy: Extreme Poverty
We are practicing advocacy, communication and social mobilization campaigns to influence policy makers as well as the general people in favour of the Ultra Poor. Following the right based approach we have developed a social communication model to mobilize civil society for social development of the ultra poor. We also work with media groups and social scientists to advocate for the ultra poor.
We are working in 33 districts of the country using various communication tools to reach the people who can facilitate a change to improve the livelihood of the ultra poor. By July 2010, we have reached more than 17 million people to bring in a positive change for the ultra poor.
