The Health programme has been running since 2008 and have been providing health services to the community. The Research and Evaluation Unit are carrying out an impact evaluation of the programme. The primary research question explores the causal effect of the health programme on health seeking behaviour and health outcome.
The research design is based on a RCT and is covering 12 peri-urban sites of Central Uganda and more rural settings in Northern Uganda. Altogether 3,800 households are part of this survey. The baseline survey was completed in 2010 and the end-line survey will take place in 2012.
