Southern Sudan is one of the poorest regions in the world, with more than 90% of the population living on less than US 1 dollar a day. We have been working in Southern Sudan since 2007 to alleviate economic poverty and social poverty due to lack of opportunities to develop Southern Sudan's human potential.

We are currently running successful programmes in:

 BRAC is also providing permanent jobs and career development for nearly 270 Sudanese (85% women).
