Where We Work : Pakistan : Health

In 2009, BRAC Pakistan received a grant from BRAC USA to fund a pilot health programme that will be implemented in 10 working areas where we have an existing microfinance presence.  The pilot programme will train 100 microfinance members to become Community Health Volunteers. Peer-to-peer health care services and health education is projected to reach more than 60,000 community members.
