Sanitary Napkins and Birthing Kits

BRAC Sanitary Napkin & Sterilised Delivery Kit production centre provides rural women in Bangladesh with the essential health needs of sanitary napkin and sterile birthing kits. The aim is to increase hygienic behaviour among rural women through a combination of affordable products and the assistance of our health volunteers and adolescent members to counsel on how and when to use these products. Such topics are rarely discussed in rural Bangladesh, even between mothers and daughters. These essential health services began in 1999.
